Bold and provocative in equal measure, the series, PASSAGES, Theory and Critique of Culture and Literature (TCCL) and Theory and Practice of Theatre. Performance and Visual Arts (TPTPVA), question academic paradigms and explore concepts of identity.<\/p>\n<p>Published in German, English, French, Spanish and Portuguese, the series take their cues from the fields of\u00a0 literature, theatre, film, history, anthropology and gender studies in the anglo-french-speaking world. Paris)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The international, peer-reviewed Passages series, which has been published since 2002, showcases a transdisciplinary, transcultural, and transmedia approach in the field of Franco-phone studies (Maghreb, Caribbean and Canada). The series, which includes monographs and anthologies in French, Spanish, German, English, Italian, Portuguese, and German, is aimed at both academic and non-academic audiences interested in culture. It also promotes the participation of young academics in the publication of outstanding and innovative doctoral and postdoctoral theses.<br \/>\nAs its title suggests, Passages is centered on the concept of the interface, focusing on interfering places where new paradigms and transcultural, transmedia spaces and identities emerge. Thus, the key moment of crossing, traversing, and oscillating refers specifically to an epistemological approach that comprehends the world, life, and science in a new way beyond binary models. \u2018Passages\u2019 implies, on the one hand, the transgression of traditional and normative disciplinary boundaries and the (rhizomatic) interconnection of different fields of knowledge and, on the other, the title of the series refers to the rupture of cultural identities and locations, as well as the resulting oscillations and inbetween spaces.
