The cornerstones of the philosophy programme at Georg Olms Verlag are the reprints and dictionaries of such notable philosophers as Christian Wolff, Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz and Herrmann Cohen, which continue to appeal to readers and remain relevant, not least due to the fact that a majority of our reprints have been updated by the latest research findings. A prime example of this is the anthology of Christian Wolff’s works, Wolffiana. In addition to reprints, we also publish an ever-increasing number of first editions with a pronounced focus on contemporary philosophy.<\/p>\n

Split into two sections, studies and text editions, and comprising over 130 volumes, the decidedly interdisciplinary series, Europaea Memoria, gives the reader a comprehensive overview of the development of European thought. The series, Studies and Materials on the History of Philosophy, shines a spotlight on both ‘classic’ literature, such as the reception history and commentaries on Immanuel Kant’s works, as well as on critical questions in the field of ethics and morality.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n
